JOB SUMMARY: The EPGIndustrial Sales Manager's primary objective is to provide leadership while training and developing employees to ensure exceptional customer service.  Monitor key performance metrics and seek opportunities to improve processes, procedures, or implement best practices of conducting business.  Key responsibilities include the management of the EPGIndustrial sales, business planning, inventory management and monitoring of expenses to ensure profitability and strong financial performance.  Lead the EPG and Industrial sales team in developing diverse customer bases while maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new customer relationships in a continuous effort to expand market share and grow revenues. 

EPGIndustrial Sales Management Fundamental Duties:

  • Create strategic departmental initiatives and strategies to achieve sales objectives.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors yearly business plan. Plan focus and target accounts, markets, industries, or geography activity plans.  Communicate plans with sales team members to better leverage Cleveland Brothers EPGIndustrial capabilities and sales force skill strengths.
  • Provide divisional management feedback on market conditions and equipment/product status.
  • Directs, supports, mentors, coaches, and evaluates sales team to established goals and objectives, providing leadership, management, and motivation for the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships; providing guidance for key accounts, including the delivery of sales presentations to clients. Provides guidance and direction to sales team in developing client relationships, negotiating and closing new business. 
  • Increase market share while maximizing profits by directing the sale of new equipment sales and accessory equipment. Providing consultative sales solutions to exceed customer requirements and maximize our product and sales opportunities.  Focus is on growth of "Solution or System selling".
  • Supervise the cradle to grave (acquisition, ordering, delivery, installation, and start-up) process of selling generators, switch gear, industrial and OEM equipment, ensuring that both Cleveland Brothers and the customer fulfill contract requirements.
  • Work closely with other members within the Commercial Engine department, sales, marketing, engineering and other teams to provide best possible solutions and services to customers and potential customers.
  • Promote company visibility in the industry by attending conferences, trade shows and customer meetings, as needed.
  • Communicate with the sales team on leads and customer feedback to ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered.
  • Efficiently support the Cleveland Brothers CRM tool enabling the sales force to constructively analyze customer accounts to determine potential for both present and future equipment needs.
  • Effectively utilize personal computer and other technological tools as offered by the company including MSOffice, CRM, DBSi, and others which may be identified at a later date.
  • Maintain and submit timely and accurate reports of daily, weekly business, and sales activity.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • A minimum of two years of sales management experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate people

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • PC familiarity and practical experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Willing to travel up to 15% of the time.

Educational Requirements:

  • BSBA degree required, Masters preferred
