In accordance with management directives, this position provides professional support and training of the Caterpillar VisionLink system to the customer base and sales force.  Support and/or training will be via in-person, Webx, phone, or email.
Essential Functions:
This position mandates that the employee be able to perform the following functions:
- Provide VisionLink Unified Suite & user maintenance, training and support
- Provide Customer Support  & Training for other CAT online applications, access & usability
- Respond to requests from salespersons for support and/or quotes in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain Word and/or Excel files for use in sales and service support
- Use Product Link / VisionLink GPS technologies to gather machine data and track assets
- Maintain dealer user access; customer CWS & e-Customer user creation, & support
- Provide Product Link retrofit & subscription quoting for Cat and non-Cat machines
- Provide Product Link subscription maintenance within DBS
- Provide/maintain accurate data record maintenance
- Substitute for other positions and functions as assigned by necessity

Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Understanding of the practices, programs, policies and procedures of Cleveland Brothers and Caterpillar relating to all aspects of machine sales and product support practices to support Cat Connect technologies
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Experience with DBSi, Caterpillar software suites and Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheet, word processing and databases in a Windows based environment is essential
- Will possess the ability to use and maintain computerized spreadsheets and database files
- Team player with ability to prioritize duties, work independently and carry out assignments of varying complexity as well as solid abilities in customer support and verbal interaction with both customers and CB sales force
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, and limited/occasional travel

Background Training and Experience:
- Progressive experience focusing on Customers, Sales and Service support
- Business or Technical degree preferred, but not required, or an equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to the Company.
